PREMIERE SCREENING and Press Conference to be held in Nanto City on March 6!

After months of dedicated work, SeiRogai Inc. is thrilled to announce the completion of the “Nanto City VR 360° Virtual Tour in Gokayama (Ainokura and Suganuma),” a project initiated in August 2023.

Our representatives, Samuel Yuen and Rachel Leng, are set to attend a press conference event on March 6 in Nanto City. Esteemed attendees include Nanto City Mayor Mikio Tanaka, officials from Nanto City Hall, government representatives, and journalists. At the press conference, a premiere screening will also be held.

This groundbreaking project utilizes cutting-edge VR technology to showcase the abundant natural beauty, rich traditions, vibrant culture, and storied history of Nanto City. Our aim is to share the allure of Nanto City with audiences both domestically and internationally, fostering fresh interest in this remarkable destination.

Ainokura and Suganuma villages, nestled in the Gokayama region of Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, hold the prestigious distinction of being designated as an UNESCO World Heritage site. These villages, where inhabitants reside amidst charming thatched-roof houses known as gassho-zukuri, offer a picturesque glimpse into Japan’s rich heritage, steeped in history and tradition.

Our CEO, Samuel Yuen, as Creator and Producer, and COO, Rachel Leng, as Presenter and Guide, led the project to produce Nanto City VR360 Virtual Tour in Gokayama.

First “Digiden” grant-approved project

The Nanto City VR360 Virtual Tour project was selected as an approved project as part of the Government of Japan’s Digital Rural City National Concept Grant, commonly referred to as the “Digiden” Initiative and Grant. This marks our third virtual tour endeavor, following collaborations with Fuchu City, Tokyo (Okunitama Jinja VR360 Virtual Tour), and Minato City, Tokyo (Zojoji Temple VR360 Virtual Tour). Notably, the Nanto City VR360 Virtual Tour is the first project to secure approval as part of the highly sought after Digiden initiative.
