SeiRogai’s Representatives Engages in Discussions with Mayor Morita of Miyake Town, Nara

SeiRogai’s CEO & Founder, Samuel Yuen, and COO & Co-Founder, Rachel Leng, recently visited Miyake Town in Nara Prefecture, where they met with Mayor Koji Morita at the town hall. Their discussions focused on leveraging vacant houses and fostering international cultural exchange to drive regional revitalization and sustainable community development.

A key topic of the meeting was the revitalization of Miyake Town’s traditional homes, repurposing them as accommodations for international visitors. This initiative aims to enhance inbound tourism, create new economic opportunities, and showcase the town’s rich history and cultural assets to a global audience.

Additionally, they explored the potential of an international artist-in-residence program, where young artists from around the world could stay in Miyake Town and engage in cultural exchanges with the local community. By drawing on SeiRogai’s expertise in global market engagement, this initiative seeks to promote artistic and cultural development in Miyake Town, fostering a more vibrant and internationally connected community.

SeiRogai remains committed to collaborating with local governments and communities to promote sustainable urban planning, revitalize unused spaces, and facilitate cross-cultural initiatives. Moving forward, we will continue to explore opportunities to support Miyake Town’s tourism development and cultural enrichment through innovative and impactful projects.
