iU’s Startup Pitch Contest

Rachel Leng, COO of SeiRogai, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo), was invited to be a judge for the startup pitch contest “THE SHOUT WINTER TOKYO” at iU Information Management Innovation Professional University (Sumida-ku, Tokyo). The pitch contest was held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

Investors and entrepreneurs from around the country, including Rachel Leng of SeiRogai, were invited as judges. Eighteen student teams competed and presented their entrepreneurial plans, and the best team of the academic year was selected. This iU Business Pitch Fest is an opportunity to present the results of the Innovation Project (InnoPro), which is the core of iU’s learning program.

The event was a great opportunity for students to interact with seasoned investors and entrepreneurs and to learn about the unique curriculum at iU, which is designed to encourage all students to start their own businesses. Likewise, SeiRogai’s business consulting practice also supports startups in a variety of ways in every step of business development. Additionally, Rachel serves as a business mentor and advisor for foreign entrepreneurs looking to expand their business in Japan at Startup Bootcamp Scale Osaka.
